ordering a N4 Recce. looking to get a LMT BCG for back up. do i need to check the headspacing? could i essentially use the LMT BCG straight away on the new rifle since the bolt/barrel is new? any issues?

I put this very question to LM&T and they told me they swap many BCGs between uppers in their factory and have not had any problems. I did buy a field grade chamber gage but my extra LM&T BCG had no problems but I did like being able to confirm all was GTG.
Just pop the new one in you will be fine. You said back up and if you are using the new Bolt later down the line its always a good idea to check your head space first. If they are both virgin items go for it.
