You have several different options on your website as far as AR15 (semi) carriers and bolts.
Am building a new upper and would like to order a new bolt and possibly a new carrier. Which would be the best way to go and why?
Michael
All the bolts I stock are high quality (CMT, LMT and FN contracted). So you really cannot go wrong. The FN contracted one will be the cheapest.
For carriers, the FN contracted ones are hands down the best (and the cheapest).

What makes the FN better than the CMT or LMT?
Grant made a good post http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=2929
After you sort through all the crap of people bitching that Grant is bringing us something great for a heck of deal, there is some good info.
The carrier key is secured with heat treated, aircraft certified Torx screws. They are then properly staked. No other carrier offers this.

Why do some companies scratch “MP” into the bolt and some companies engrave it?
Most companies inspec their bolts PRIOR to finishing them. CMT (Stag) inspects their bolts after they finish them.

Ah-HAH! Thanks!
I will say that I recently received an LMT bolt carrier assembly and I was pleased (but not surprised) to see that they staked the crap out of the screws holding the gas key in place.
I received my FN BCG from Grant yesterday and it is indeed top notch! It is a value among carrier groups! I bought another “super duty” BCG from another dealer a while back and paid more than I did for this one. I won’t make that mistake again.
Glad you like it!
