I need to order a couple of BCM's "BCM® SOPMOD Bolt Upgrade / Rebuilt Kit" to install on my Colt AR's. I know it's a sure fit for my LE6920, but should it also be a simple installation on my older production (late 1993 / early 1994) Colt 6520 without any problems ? ( I really can't see why I should have any problems, but as I don't have the weapon here with me at the moment, I figured I probably should verify. ) As I haven't looked at the 6520 in some time now, I can't recall which buffer type (weight) it came through with. One point I do recall, is that it did have the "4" marking on it's receiver, just below the front portion of it's carry handle. Any comments & or advice regarding the model 6520 will be very much appreciated.
