The only issue I can see with it is timing which you will not see in semi. Now is there some wear issue? I am not sure honestly.
Yep. If you do a search then people get on you about bringing up old threads, if you ask a question then people tell you to do a search. You can’t win.![]()
AMEN! The SHIT gets old.
I didnt get onto him I just mentioned it was an ancient thread then posted a better video for him to view.
Yeah. Good to go! Thanks
FWIW
Andrew (Vuurwapenblog) has some really good footage of bolt bounce comparison between a carbine buffer and the A5 system.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7IoXcLm_2g
Starts around 1:10, really good examples
Now that I clearly see it, it’s gonna make me anal-retentive about having a carbine buffer* on my 16" mid BCM.
*Or whatever the weight of the black buffer from the PSA kit is.
Andrew does a spectacular job with his writing and videos, always very professional and non-biased.
love the Vuurwapenblog vids,
is there a way to diagnose bolt bounce without hispeed camera?
I guess it’s not an issue as long as the rifle/carbine is reliable, correct?
btw, for the slow motion vids fan out there the Pmag test series are interesting as well… BB on the 416 & handguards movenent under recoil
That was really cool. I had heard of bolt bounce but I was not 100% sure of what it was.
Thanks, good find.
