Blackhawk Warrior Wear Clothing

Has anyone bought or used any of the Blackhawk Warrior Wear clothing?

I have heard the boots are of good quality but heard nothing about the clothing

The cost is in the same ballpark as Arcteryx but is the quality the same?

Given the choice, go with Arc’teryx. Far more durable for any items of a similar price point from BHI. I had a set of their cold-weather gear practically disintegrate within 4 months, while my Arc’Teryx/Mountain HardWear/5.11 warmies are at 1-4 years, depending on which piece you’re talking about, with no catastrophic wear points to be seen, though I’ve had to replace a couple of zippers.

BHI synthetic polos are particularly ridiculous, with the collar stays making the collar lay all wonky (neither flat nor Elvised, usually somewhere in between) and the cloth snagging on every. single. thing. you have opportunity to rub up against. A $50 shirt shouldn’t pill like that; looks like ass in short order.

BH is not in the same tier as Arc’teryx in terms of quality and function. Some of their designs are still good, except for those silly pants with the tourniquets built in.

I was looking at the Operations Jacket and the Shell Jak

I have one of the performance polo, it seems good so far, as for the cotton is there any good products that are similar

Seems like for the money everyone goes with Arcteryx or TAD

The base layer clothing seems interesting depending on pricing

I recently purchased an Ops jacet. I would have prefered an Arc’teryx. The Ops was $200.00 less than a similar Arc’teryx. Kids needing braces was a deciding factor.

We tried some of those trousers.
No thanks.
