This article was written by Pat Buchanan. Many of the sort come from the right often, not really newsworthy in that regard. The key is watching for more of the coming from both the left and the minorities themselves.
We already know where we are coming from but if the president loses a substantial portion of them the tide will finally turn.

The article asks is it possible to have racism in DC? I say yes, it is. Just as importantly, the crime stats of many of the places that crap happens.
The destruction of Black Culture is the mechanism of the plight of Black America. We can disagree on the source(s) and cause(s) - until we study them intently. What matters is that Black America has to do all it can as fast as it can.

Looks like a 90-day vacation, based upon infraction points accrued in the system by multiple mods, rather than a subjective call on the part of any one staffer. Recent history suggests that QS may be working through something right now, based upon a series of several contentious posts this week.
Not a permanent ban, but an involuntary vacation nonetheless. I tend not to use the infraction system very heavily myself, but it is working as intended, unfortunately. Keep in mind that baiting, bickering and instigating are relatively heavily-weighted offenses, and a couple of those got stacked on top of each other for separate problem posts.
Nobody feels particularly good about it, but we do have a job to do.

I hear you. With everything else going on lately it just seems like we need to question motives now more than ever.
I fully understand, and am engaged on that with all due directness.
We’re striving to make the right calls. Just dealing with an inordinate amount of arseclownery of late; doubtless a reflection of the sort of thing that is making national news every other day so far this summer. Thankfully, most of it is still confined to GD. For now.

True Chuck, but some of the other things that went on, and why a couple guys were banned, was obviously personal. Especially after some of the things I’ve seen (fact - not opinion or hear-say) that proved that.
It’s just a shame what’s been happening lately and I know it’s driven at least a couple big names away from here. Some regular members as well.
One’s personal agenda should not affect the membership as a whole.
I’m still going to agree with you for the most part, but I think we’ve largely acknowledged (or at least recognized) those mistakes, discussed them behind closed doors and are looking to get back to business as usual. Just seems to be a lot of folks looking to push the boundaries lately, and at some point, that has to be reined-in. I realize that can often look heavy-handed when you don’t have the back story, but I think we remain pretty committed to fair play and neutral officiating.

I have no issues with that article. It’s a good read.
I agree with that and there’s no place for people pushing things too far or doing what they know is out of line.
I agree that you, F2S, JSantoro, IG and a couple others are fair and seem to make decisions for the right reasons.
I hope things are in the past and everyone can move on, but I’m sure some guys out there that were more involved will hold onto it a bit longer.
The part that struck me was 73% of births being out of wedlock. Even if that figure is off, when you factor in the married couples that aren’t going to make it, I’m not sure that any of these kids really stands a chance.
Poor/no parenting is a sure recipe for disaster in any people group. Seems to me that, after watching this play out for a generation or two, community leaders would begin to recognize that they’ve got a serious problem on their hands that can only be fixed from within.

At least here you can see your points and know if / when you need to stop…think and reassess. And you can see specific infractions and challenge them if needed as I was able to do successfully…once.
Don’t worry…you can always depend on the Village to teach them what’s important.
