Personally, I think erecting a billboard like that is inappropriate. I’m all for small gov’t and am against tyranny… but this is disturbing.
The best part is reading the comments the progressives made about it.

That definitely falls outside the notion of “protected speech”. It’s considered a crime to prod people towards armed insurrection. And just plain moronic to pay to put up a billboard to do so.
Whatever local/state agency approved this needs to be investigated.

The government should fear it’s people, not the other way around. I think it is appropriate and in the spirit of the Constitution and BOR. It should get people fired up.
Remember boys and girls, the real reason we have these fancy black rifles is not to shoot critters, or impress you buddies at the BBQ. It is to defend freedom and liberty from tyranny should the need arise.
I found the comments much worse than the billboard.
Saw the thread label and was hoping it was the one saying “Miss ME yet?” below a picture of Carter.
On topic: Next sign up the road should have Jefferson’s quote “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”
WOW - so if take out the prepare for war part…makes perfect sense. This on the other hand makes a statement and does send a message, dont you think?
