“The gun trial of Hunter Biden has started. The Armed Attorneys Emily Taylor and Richard Hayes take a look and provide the inside scoop of the defense strategy. Will it pay off? Guilty or Not?”
Nobody is above the law, yeah right.
Jury will say “not guilty”. Calling it now.
Democrats are immune.
Hoping for this Piling in to an end to the 4473.
(I didn’t watch the vid) and I don’t like the guy but it’s not like he committed a crime of violence. Up to 20 years for this kinda crap? Give me a break, I’ve seen murderers do less time. Fine the idiot and move on…
Normally I would agree with you, but out of spite and a need for revenge I want him to get the whole 20.
I will, however settle for what @jsbhike said, putting an end to the 4473.
I am with you, if the 4473 doesn’t get eliminated he needs to do the full 20.
He will get nadda and we all know it. However, how ever he weasels out of it, will likley be a net benefit to gun owners and set a precedent. His stupidity will be our gain I suspect so how this one goes will be interesting and important. He/they are in a lose lose there: throw the book at him to prove they’re balanced about applying it, or don’t and prove it’s selective application others will use in their defense.
You know as easy as the Left makes it out to go buy a “Gun Show” untracable firearm, I’m really surprised Hunter didn’t go that route and fly under the radar.
Which again goes back to why “Drugs are Bad”.
The jurors will be his “peers” right? he will be judged by crack heads, dope dealers, hookers, crooked non FFL gun dealers. He will be found NOT guilty.
Since there is about 5 people in each state of that area that are pro gun,it should be a slam dunk guilty verdict.
If he is found guilty won’t Burden just pardon him and gun owners will gain zero?
He’ll walk. Whether he walks with a “not guilty” verdict or when Daddy Joe pardons him, I don’t know, but the end result is the same. Our legal system and “due process” is a joke.
I predict not guilt AND we get to keep the 4473.
Yep, jury nullification is what they’re shooting for. Not because the onerous gun law is bad, cause he’s one of their own and it was never intended to apply to them in the first place.
Prohibited person purchasing a firearm - felony. If it was you or me, we’d be looking at 20 years.
Falsifying a 4473 to obtain a firearm - felony. If it was you or me, we’d be looking at 20 years.
Larry Vickers did less, look what happened to him.
This isn’t a case of Hunter who did some weed back in college. Biden is a drug addict and we are talking about crack cocaine.
He’s a crackhead who lied about his prohibited person status and falsified a 4473. He’s EXACTLY the kind of person we were told the 4473 and background system was designed to prevent from obtaining a firearm. If you omitted the name and said “a crack head falsified a 4473 to illegally obtain a firearm” nobody would have any doubt about what should happen.
So let’s play by the “what if it was you or me” rules.
Scrapping the FFL system would be number two on my hit list right after removing the “sporter clause” from the 1968 GCA. It does little or nothing to keep guns out of the wrong hands, even a specific operation “Fast and Furious” led to guns getting lost and one was used to murder a federal agent.
The firearm business should revert back to the commercial model where if you buy from the manufacturer you pay retail prices, but stocking firearm dealers operating a retail business qualify for dealer prices. It is so convoluted with FFL pricing that you almost have to become a wholesaler to have a self sustaining firearm business if all you sell are new firearms and don’t have a range or some other revenue stream.
Now in the era of Lawfare, I’m curious who will get sentenced first Hunter or Trump? Is Trump’s sentence going to be equal too or better if Hunter is found guilty? What is it’s all a case of getting the “Other Guy” harder than he gets you?
I’m serious I do believe it devolved to that level of Childishness.
I will say this though, this is kind of tying Hunter closer to that Lap Top than ever before.
I would be happy with the outcome being us going back to direct mail order guns. I would, however, rather see Hunter get 20 years.
At least we can mail order ammo. From 1968 to 1986 that was not possible and dealers had to log ammo sales like firearm sales. Sadly I think 1986 was the only time anything got reversed. The only other HUGE accomplishment has been in “shall issue” CCW permits which got started in Florida back in the 80s.
But I agree, in this day and age, people should be able to order firearms online, satisfy whatever kind of meaningless background check ATF expects everyone to do with private sales one day and then have the firearm delivered directly to them.
Biden gun case.
Hand stitched, closed-cell foam padding, heavy duty zippers, adjustable shoulder strap. A likeness of Hunter on the outside.
I’m gonna be rich.
