I do want to say something that I have wanted to say for a long time.
Life would be so much more easier if I could be Left Wing and Liberal. Society would seem more free and I probably wouldn’t have to look over my back as much.
It’s no fun being Right Wing, but it’s real. It’s not self deluding
We’re all extremists about something. We just pretend we’re not like a game of whorehouse charades. We all know why we’re here, why we gird ourselves so and our limits. We just gesticulate to avoid saying the bitter truth.
These people would have us killed and our children re-educated all because we wanna keep what we earn and don’t want riff raff following us home where we sleep.
Sorry, didnt finish my thought. Just because someone was not born in our country does not make them sub-human, worthless, criminal, or even Democrats. A shocking number of our warfighters are (and have always been) citizens of another nation.
At the same time, no one is guaranteed a place at the table. We currently have an unacceptable unemployment rate. We do not need more unemployed young adults, mouths to feed, kids in school, or college students. The people we need (doctors, scientists, engineers, teachers) are not the people Biden opened our country to.
Right (except the future-Democrat part). Their social value status, i.e. the value they offer this country makes them either worthwhile or worthless when it comes to immigration. You can talk pie-in-the-sky platitudes about their worth as a human being, whatever. If you are coming here broke-dick with mouths to feed and no skills you are worthless to this country. You offer NOTHING and will only take. That transcends racial makeup despite the best efforts of some Moral High Roaders to portray it otherwise. Easy to point a finger because someone totally rejects the needy brown masses INVADING our country and say it is simply because they are “brown”. Not saying that is your aim Andy, but nice try to those who intend that. Why, it must be because they are brown, only bigots won’t welcome with open arms the dregs bum-rushing our border.
Now, even if some RN, engineer, doctor, et al, were among those coming across they are ALL immediately dismissed because they are here ILLEGALLY. See that word there, illegally? That means EVERYONE coming across that way should be sent packing. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E of them…and yes, that means the darling children too. They ALL go back.
Do it right or don’t do it.
About 20 years ago or so my wife and I were on one of our tropical vacations and met two British couples who were all friends. We hit it off with them and the two guys told me they had a friend in Ft. Lauderdale who was willing to sponsor them to immigrate here; they would have jobs, had some money to get started (they wanted to run a car dealership). Know what they told me when I asked them why they didn’t do it? “We’re the wrong colored blokes!”
So you see my sympathy for “brown” people just because they’re brown is non-existent. That is not why you should have sympathy for someone; you are then just as guilty as those you accuse otherwise if color is clouding your judgement. It seems some people on here, in keeping with the current PC brainwashing that takes place in this country, immediately make the move to point a finger and claim “Bigot!” :fie: when they are intentionally ignoring the real reasons (which I stated in my first paragraph) because it’s “easier”.
ABNAK, I don’t have a vendetta against you, but “Mestizo” very specifically has to do with race and then the class implications of it. I dislike monikers like “racist” as they are abused, and I didn’t call you one.
You’ll note that in my original post quoting you, I didn’t mention anything about education or class or skillset. I absolutely do think we should “discriminate” in our immigration policies, which is something we have done for a very long time. But using terms like Mestizo and then acting like it isn’t racist is disingenuous. Who cares what they look like or their family background? Can they arrive legally, work hard, contribute, learn (and thereby cause evolution within) the majority language, vote for freedom over provision? That’s all that should matter. If there are unfortunate links to ethnic/racial backgrounds based on history, that’s another topic, but it sure as heck doesn’t seem very American to make it about national origin (generally speaking), ethnicity (absolutely), or language.
Pretty sure I mentioned Mestizo being used as a caste in Latin America, didn’t I? They ARE, for the most part, Mestizos. It’s called a fact. It wouldn’t matter to me if the majority of them were Castilian…they are here ILLEGALLY. Therefore they are not welcome. If a bunch of Haitians were trying to come here (again), would I be wrong to state they were French Caribbean Africans? Because when that onslaught was taking place that’s who was coming here, not the Haitian version of Castilians (i.e. white of French or Spanish descent). According to you descriptors have to be left out, details hurt. More to the point, Mestizos are far more likely to be the needy welfare recipients than some of their Castilian countrymen (back to that social caste thing). It’s a fact. You are reading waaayyy into what I said, but I won’t back-peddle as I wasn’t incorrect and have no apologies to make. I’ll be damned if I’ll handle the word Mestizo with kid gloves because the mostly corrupt Latin culture has made it a dirty word. Their problem, not mine. Three years stationed in Panama while in the Army, two deployments to Honduras during that time, and numerous vacations to Latin countries with nice beaches in subsequent times means I have a pretty good grasp of the situation. I don’t need educated on it.
First and foremost: you are here illegally you go back, period. Regardless of race/ethnicity/whatever other excuse you might have. GO BACK.
Secondly, and while I don’t think I should need to say it but apparently some here don’t get it, come here legally. Do it right. And that should include being able to prove you have sponsors, can support yourself AND family, and will not get one friggin’ dime of welfare/EBT/housing $$$ from U.S. taxpayers. Meet those requirements and “Welcome to America”. Oh, yeah, guess I also need to mention: that includes Mestizos, French Caribbean Africans, Chinese, Nigerians, Ukrainians or whatever.
Right, you and quite a few of us here just have a different opinion than the group think/feelings of what seems like the mainstream of thought. Personally I don’t think it really is the majority it’s just the loudest. People with an alternative point of view are not simply seen as having a different POV but recently have been deemed dangerous to the fragile feelings of the left. Conservative thinkers are now being demonized and dehumanized and we know where that leads…
County School Principals Told To “Immediately” Register Expected Influx Of Unattended Migrant Children
The principals received an email from Laura Grier, homeless liason with the county schools. She wrote, "The Chattanooga area may experience an increase of unattended migrant youth. If any of the students show up to register at your school, please register them immediately.
“They do not need two proofs of residency (or be “in zone”), a birth certificate, immunization record or proof of guardianship as they will be covered under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act.”
Neighbors say a number of adolescents have been arriving in vans.
172,000 illegal immigrant crossings in March, situation ‘horrific to see’
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, met with Republican lawmakers this week to explain the nature of the problem Border Patrol is facing on a daily basis.
“I would argue that it’s the biggest surge that we’ve ever seen in the history of the Border Patrol,” Judd said during a roundtable with members of Congress, Texas landowners, and law enforcement.
“You could cross the border illegally one day and be in Virginia the very next day,” Judd said, referring to the “catch-and-release” program implemented by the Biden administration.
“I personally have apprehended groups from China, from Bangladesh, from Russia, from Poland, from Brazil. And these criminal organizations are allowed to go into these countries, and they’re allowed to advertise their services and make billions of dollars off of human misery. And it’s based upon our policies,” he said, referring to the Biden administration policies that reversed Trump-era policies.
We cannot force our teachers into the classroom to teach our children, but we can force them to teach unvaccinated, untested migrant kids. Couldn’t wait a month or so could we?
Outrage as migrant kids get in-person schooling before locals in San Diego
A California school district is arranging for migrant children to get in-person teaching — even as all local kids remain stuck in virtual classes.
The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) confirmed to Fox News that it is “providing the educational program for the unaccompanied migrant children” staying at the San Diego Convention Center.
It sparked outrage from local parents, education leaders and lawmakers as local children remain in online-only classes until at least April 12, when the plan is to switch to a hybrid model.
“We have 130,000 kids who haven’t been allowed in a classroom for over a year,” San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond told Fox News.
“It’s great that there’s in-person learning for those unaccompanied minors from Central America, but I wish every child in San Diego County was allowed the same opportunity for in-person teaching,” he said.
Seriously? If someone simply posts that they voted for Trump that makes them racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it… in the watchful eyes of the Left.
