What is the difference between the Victory series slings and the AA VCAS?

Is it basically a budget VCAS AA made with less expensive webbing and without the quick release buckle? Same quick adjust AA slider?

If it is, it fits my needs pretty well and I’d like to put the $10 or so savings towards other stuff. If there are other things different with the quality, materials, and function, can anyone elaborate? Am considering springing for the AA VCAS if it’s that much better.

I’m not an operator, my carbine will be used for recreational shooting, classes, possible HD and general SHTF.

Having owned both, the main difference that stood out to me was the webbing. The webbing on the Victory sling felt stiffer and more abrasive than the VCAS. Other than that, they functioned the same, aside from the Victory sling missing the quick release.

I see! Did you happen to notice if they have the same slider buckle?

This is correct. The Victory also only comes in black.

They use the same design slider, but different materials.

The VCAS is more comfortable, the Victory is a great value.

I run a VCAS on my 16" Middy, a Simple Sling single point on my SBR, and a Victory on my AK.

RD62, I see you noticed a comfort difference, did you notice if the Victory seems less robust than the VCAS?
