If you were to silver solder a flash hider to a 14.5 inch barrel in order to meet legal reguirements of barrel length, which would be the best washer to use? Would it be a crush washer, a peel washer, a split washer, etc.? And why?

If I’m not mistaken, silver solder takes a hell of a lot of heat to use if I’m thinking of the right stuff. I’d think that doing a blind pin and weld over would be easier, at least thats what I did…YMMV. I used a crush washer on both of mine.
my 14.5 has a crush washer on it and is pinned .I have heard and read that the solder can be broke loose if enough force is applied ,which is what the ATF will do while trying to frak you with a illegal SBR;)
