I need something that kicks with gas and shoots either blanks or BBs. Anyone got any ideas?
UTM/FX/SIMS.
Expensive as **** (comparatively) but definitely the best.
Either Blanks or BB’s? What’s up with that?
They make laser adapters for airsoft pistols, you would have to buy the airsoft pistol.
You can get a Dvorak recoil adapter for a real firearm and convert back and forth: https://www.dvorakinstruments.com/
This is a UTM blank firing adapter: http://stressvest.com/products/black-fire-conversion-kit/
Would probably be better if you provided more detail as to what your mean by ‘training.’ Are you talking something to shoot projectiles at targets, something for dryfire training, or, something for force on force training?

I have used these at work. They work on a real Colt M4 (ie select fire) but have super low recoil hoever do cycle the action. I have no idea the cost for the conversion but i think the rounds are about $1.50/each.
Or you could look at a VFC M4a1 RIS II airsoft gun. Uses green gas and has a near real weight bolt that cycles.
Definitely need more info, from what you say I’d say try an airsoft gas blowback gun. They are good for training, but I’m not sure what you want. You weren’t very clear…
What Type of fire arm are your trying to train for?
Yeah, what are you looking at doing with it? We will need more information on your requirements in order to recommend something effectively. Cheers!

Might be worth a look, kinda makes your gun into a SIRT gun that also has a slide that reciprocates off of a carbon dioxide cartridge.
airsoft has a glock 17 witch it cool it will be the end of rootin tootin vladimir putin
how are you going to train? is it like weapon disarming, shooting range, shootouts etc. and then what type of gun are you looking for? need more info please.
Is OP ever going to respond?
Doubt it, but if he does, I found this.

These are airsoft replicas of actual Glocks, they are liscensed by Glock, and function exactly like a real one, except they don’t kick as hard. They seem nice, and I think I’ll pick one up for training!
Dry firing your regular firearms isn’t as fun, but much cheaper and gets real life practice with actual gear.
Gas airsoft guns are great training tools. Felt recoil and you can practice in your house with a cardboard box stuffed with old clothes or crumbled news paper as backing to prevent penetration. I have a all metal replica of my pistols, same controls, same size, close to the same weight and fits my holsters. I know a few of our local Sheriff’s agency’s and PD use them heavily for force on force training ( cheaper than simunitions for dept’s with tight budgets. ) The recent Stanislaus County Sheriff recruiting video showed the SRT & CERT teams training with airsoft guns.
