is a barska red dot a good optic i know aimpoint is the best but it is hard to pay 644 for a red dot
I am sure there are threads on here, so just research yourself for the quality of the optic you want, but this cannot be beat:

Why is it hard to pay for an Aimpoint? You get what you pay for. If you currently don’t have enough $, then save up. Look for a solid used one if $ is such an issue.

T-1’s and H-1’s, IMHO, are better.
I agree with the above and would recommend saving up for a quality optic. I personally prefer EO Techs. Keep an eye out for used ones, I’ve seen some EO Techs go for under $300

If you don’t want to spend the money, learn how to use irons and buy ammo instead of a shit red dot.
No, my cousin had one he bought at a gunshow and it stopped working two shots in. Save up for an aimpoint. The PRO looks to be a good optic but I’ve never used one
