best place to backorder LMT uppers?

I’d like to order a couple of LMT 16in uppers to go with some uppers that finally arrived after 5 months or so of waiting. The email notification deal is a little tough as shown by bravoco selling out all it’s BCM uppers in 30 minutes. Lots of places are not even taking backorders. So, where should I order from? Anyone ordering directly from the LMT website?..how did it go?

I tried to order from LMT directly and they siad no. I also just put myself on the notify list at Rainier, hopefully that works.

I haven’t tried an upper directly from LMT, but I did order a FA BCG about 2 weeks ago. They told me I was slotted for shipment in mid July! So it’s coming but it will be a while.

I’m gonna keep an eye on the Bravo Co website as Paul just said they were about to start receiving LARGE quantities of LMT stuff in the near future. If an LMT or BCM BCG pops up there I’ll cancel my order with LMT, if not I’m slotted to ship in mid July! :smiley:

I have had mine on order from LMT for 2 months and they said it would take 24 weeks but they gave me a MIL discount and no one else would.

I “back” ordered mine through Quantico. Hopefully my name is high enough on the list for the small shipment expected end of April.

Whoo! I ordered three weeks ago, so I guess I might be looking at early July.

I have been waiting on a box of 16" Uppers for 4 or 5 months. Im hopping the customer I ordered them for gets tired of waiting for them and gets something else so I can keep them for myself

These are your choices:

  1. You can order direct from LMT’s website. The current advertised wait is 20-24 weeks. Their prices have not changed. You can order a complete upper w/BCG/HGs/Charging Handle delivered for @ $650.

  2. You can play the Bravo Company/Rainier Arms/etc. lottery and hope to get one in 1-? months as they start to get them back in stock. Repeat the email lottery for BCGs.

  3. You can pay anywhere from $200 and up over MSRP and get one on-line from various sources if you have to have one RIGHT NOW.

Personally, I have one on order from the factory. I already have one so I can afford to be patient. Your circumstances may be different.

I ordered my mrp upper directly from LMT a couple of months ago. I’m not in any rush.

I also ordered a couple of bcg’s.

I figure if I find one at Bravo, then great. I’ll either cancel my lmt order or offer it to somebody here for what I paid for it, when it arrives.

Big +1 for Rainier arms. I got on their mailing list first week of Feb for the LMT rifle length MRP, got the in stock email about 3 weeks later, ordered, and got mine last week. They were completely sold out 2 days later. Get on everyone’s mailing list.
