Best aftermarket Glock sights

Front sight (stock plastic) sheared off after shooting through a hole in a plywood barrier. Now I’m looking for new sights, what are the best options? Suppressor height sights aren’t needed.

Best is such a subjective word. I really like the XS Big Dots. I have them on all of my guns and use them pretty well.

Ameriglo I Dot Pro for the price. Heinie, Warren and Trijicon HD are also good choices.

Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eights, the original and still the best…everything else is a poor copy…

What are you looking for in the sights? Looking for night sights? Target sights? Fixed or adjustable? hree dots, two dot, one dot, gold bead, Fiber optic, ect, ect, ect. There are a lot of options, models, and more out there and to a point it is personal presence once you have decided what you are looking to get out of the sights.

I know it isn’t an answer, but after a certain point sight preference is personal choice and the best is very subjective. Buy ones that are from a quality manufacturer and that fix your needs and wants and carry on.

I would also put the Trijicon HD’s on this list.

I like using Trijicon night sights. I have tried Big Dot sights but I’m not accurate enough at longer distances with them but that is just me.

10-8’s with a fiber optic front sight.

I run Heinie straight 8’s but Wilson’s Vickers sights look good and might try them at some point.

If you don’t know or have an idea of what you want, I’d get a set of Defoor sights and run them. If you decide you want something different later on, at least you didn’t throw $150 down the drain.

From someone who has spent a lot of money on different sights over 20 plus years try to check out friends or others at the range and get a feel of what you might like. There are too many choices out there but in the end go with a known quality maker.

Well it all depends on what you’re after for sights.

Stock replacement?

Night sights?

Cool and unusual?

I changed out the sights on my G19 with TruGlo TFO sights. Put a pair on my Shield last year, liked em so much that I wanted the same ones on my other carry (and one of my HD) pistol.

+1, same thing on all my Glocks.

Dawson adjustable rear with fiber optic front.

I run Ameriglo CAP or TCAP fronts and Operator (yellow lamp) rears on all my Glocks. If the TCAP were available in an orange outline, I’d standardize on that…

I have found I like the Ameriglo Spartan Tactical series. They are pretty much identical to the Trijicon HD’s, but less expensive. Also, I can attest to Ameriglo’s customer service.

I went with Dawson Precision adjustable rear and a serrated front based on a recommendation from a very experienced firearms instructor. I’ve been very happy with them.

I like Warren Sevigny sights. Have them on my G17

Here are what they look like:

I kinda like the idea of having a similar sight picture across firearms from different manufacturers (Glocks, M&P Shield, HK, etc), and for this reason, among others, Heinies seem to work for me. Though I like HD’s as well.

I would by Heine brand, but they don’t put white paint around the front tritium. I don’t want it on the rear sight, but do on the front.
