So many choices.

Really anything from 300 yards in for combat or defense, using a knights sr15 16" carbine with 1:7 twist rate. For its price I have heard pmc m193 55gr was as good as any others, but I wanted to get and updated answer from everyone else. While the high dollar stuff ( black hills, etc) will probably perform better, was thinkin at a closer range it really won’t matter?

I like the PMC XTAC 193 ans 855. For my everyday shooting it’s always worked well and @ $8.17/box it’s cheap enough to shoot… Cheers… Ron

77 Grain match kings. Nuff said.

PMC XTAC XM855.

federal xm193 or xm855

What is an example of a civilian 200-300 yard defense scenario?

When someone is shooting at you from 200-300 yards

I was going to ask the same thing.

70gr TSX (brown tip).

The above is expensive. So another good option is bonded ammo from Federal/SPEER.
