Has anyone used any of the below compensators for their .308 AR rifle and if so, what is your opinion in regards to rearward recoil dampening?

Anyone?
Have the Miculek on my 16" DPMS and love it. You won’t make any friends if you shoot at a range. Usually, people ask to move when I open up next to them. 223 has a sharper recoil that actually feels like more of a kick than the 308 with the comp.
If you can see the video link below, the girl shooting weighs about 95lbs with 5lbs of change in her pocket.
Thanks for the info! The video will not open. Do you have one in a MPEG format?
In my oppinion an FN/FAL is the best recoil reducer for .308:o
Suppresor.
The best recoil redcution comp on the market for 308 autoloading rifles is the SJC Titan. It is flat out amazing. I’ve been playing with comps and testing them for competition for the past several years. I own just about every comp on the market plus several that I have made myself trying to make one better. I have not been able to find a comp that works better on 308 or 223 autoloading and AR style rifles than the Titan.
As for suppressors being the best recoil reduction device? Thats kinda far from true. They actually increase recoil on autoloading rifles. No suppressor is ever gonna beat a comp in that arena.

KAC Triple Tap in .308 on Battle Rifle.
KAC in .308 deam gun, looking for things to sell, thx for all the eye candy you show us, It’s really cool to see a Florida company be such a leader, this may be a dumb question but could you use a .308 Triple Tap on a 6.8 thank you
Oh, good question, I imagine if the threads are the same you could. Unless there is something Im missing about the KAC TT brake, I dont see why not.
Kevin,
What’s the barrel length on your 308? 16, 18?
BTW, cool gun.

That one was a 16" Mk11 Carbine (Obermeyer Stainless Steel barrel). We also make a 16" Chrome Barrel and chamber version that we in house call the Battle Rifle.
I had it on my AR10 carbine for a while and it works great but the concussion was distracting so I took it off. I am going to try it on my GAPAR10 with a 20 inch barrel next. I just need to have the barrel threaded.

I put a PWS FSC30 on a 16" FAL and I was very happy with the results.
As the shooter I did not notice an appreciable difference in muzzle blast. But, the reduction in recoil and muzzle jump was very noticeable. Purely subjective, but it made my FAL shoot like an AR, in terms of recoil and muzzle jump. My real objective was not so much recoil reduction as to facilitate follow up shots; it did that extremely well.
I liked it so much, I put another PWS on my other FAL. That about says it all.
Stay safe.
Ive purchased and used several brakes over the years. At first I used what I was told was the shit. Over the years Ive gotten around to VIAS brakes on all my counter sniper rifles.
Although my rifles are heavy from long barrels #9 Kriegers shortest is 27 inchs plus the VIAS " NO I don’t care to debate the short VS long barrel issues". The VIAS seems to work well for my applications. I use them on my 700, 308, my 300 WM and as of late my 338 LM.
I shoot at least two of the rifles weekly and find that with the brakes even the 338LM is easy to train with. I anticipate rebarreling the 308 in the next 6 months it’s at around 8000 rounds now, however it’s still shooting well.
Give the VIAS a look it might fit your needs.
