Beretta CX4 Storm?

are they legal in Calif. with the 10 round magazines in 9mm? Are they useful around the house? What say you?

I like mine. It runs and handles well, and it is pretty accurate. My couple minor complaints are that the trigger feel is a little odd, the bolt catch lever feels flimsy and it’s not possible for me to put it back on safe with my strong side thumb due to thumbhole stock blocking me rotating my wrist around enough to reach the button. It goes off safe efficiently, but I need to safe it with my support hand. While slightly annoying, none of these have bothered me enough to make me want to mod the gun or trade it away.

I don’t use it for a home-defense weapon, but I wouldn’t hesitate to count on it if the need arose.

Can’t help you with the CA question, though…

They can be, depending on the version, you may have to add one of the stock spacers to get the OAL up to 30". Additionally, you will have to install a bullet button and only use ten round magazines, or fill in the thumbhole area of the stock, in which case you can use whatever size magazines you like, provided you acquired them legally . I filled the thumbhole in on mine when moving to CA from NY, I used Devcon Steel as it was handy, made the rifle really heavy though. Ended up selling it a few months after moving to CA to pay for rent.

Mine has been 100% though it has less than 1k rnds through it.

Handles great, easy to wield one-handed. Easy to mount a light and sling to. Feeds steel case and jhp’s just fine. Easy to mount a cowitness rds on. You’ll never shoot any pistol as fast and accurately as you can with this rifle.
