Beretta Camo Max... Durability

I know the gun I want, but I am not sure of the finish. Does anyone have any experience with the durability of Beretta’s Max xxx finish? Not sure if I want the black synthetic of the MAX finish. It is my understanding Beretta uses a hydro dip, and from what I understand the key to any hydro finish is the clear coat.

IMHO Beretta’s QC is excellent and they make a dam fine product so I don’t think they would skimp on the finish process. I do not have any experience with hydro or kreacote so I don’t know how long I can realistically expect the finish to hold up.

I have MAX4HD on my Xtrema2 and it holds up very well. You just have to be careful with solvents when cleaning.

It will be fine, if not krylon. I usually save some coin and get the black because I have a habit of spraying everything anyway.

Thanks for the input, I ended up the black, cheaper and I can spray it without worry. BUT I added a camo and a nice wood O/U for clays to the wish list, along with a lot of other things,
