I’m not a fan of this project but here are some pics I found on the net (armietiro.it)
barrels shown are 12 and 16 inch; the rifle has ambi safety & mag release ( 3 buttons: left righe and bottom) and the quick barrel change feature.

Looks kinda “tall”.

I’ve always thought a rifle should be as slim as possible for better handling.

And why the hell does it have a shrouded mag release on the bottom?

I kinda of like the looks of it but looks are useless if it can’t perform.

It looks overly bulky to me too.

I didn’t even know Beretta had a rifle of this type in the works! I guess I’ve had my head buried in AR’s.

I wish every gun company out there would design and sell an assault weapon[in the USA]. Although I may never buy one, there would be a market for Beretta fans out there.
This weapon would also take some pressure off the AR market and hopefully get Bushmaster working a little faster on the ACR.

I too was once worried about the “height” of the weapons, and I thought the SCAR was definitely going to be too tall/cumbersome, but it has proven to be quite comfortable…

Looks very cool - definately Scar’ish. I too wish manufactures would make in the US for more options…Just make sure they take AR mags - major lowest common denominator for today’s collector’s market.

I’d rock the short barreled one. I’d be amazed if Beretta would make them available for civie consumption though. If they did I would buy one seeing as I no longer think the ACR will ever be seeing any gun shop shelves.

i believe they stated they werent making it for civis because they already have the RX4.
