Benelli SBE Ejector Spring Issue

I have a HK import SBE. I am trying to replace the ejector spring.

I ordered a new one from brownells (301-000-088). The new one is half the length of the old one. What is the deal with this and how to I resolve the issue.

I don’t own a SBE, but I do know that when they changed from the SBE to the SBE II they changed some stuff out.

Do you have your original manual? Brownels says the Benelli part number is 60475/046G60475. It may have changed when they went to the new model.

I would try to call Benelli directly and tell them you have a SBE I. They might send you the part for free.
