I have a M1 S90 tactical that is giving me trouble. I’ll be shooting it fairly rapidly ( 3-gun ), a shell will be lifted inline with the chamber, but the bolt will hang there. A short quick pull of the bolt handle will get it to feed. The shell is not reaching or hanging on the feed ramp. I’ve already c/o the recoil, and mag spring. I use a fairly stout load 3 1/4 dram, 1 1/8 oz. of no. 6.
Benellis have harmonic issues from time to time. I have seen several bent receivers on hard use guns that just stopped working. Check the springs, if you have a side saddle, try taking it off and see if the problem goes away, when you reinstall it make sure the screws are not too tight. I would also change the ammo to see if that helps…

No side saddle. I don’t think the receiver is bent, as the bolt carrier has a very smooth action, although the rat tail has a few burrs on the end where it impinges on the recoil spring cap. I’ll remove those. I’m not sure what small springs could be the problem, I’ll have to sit down and study the trigger group, bolt interface.
