Was hoping some on here might have some suggestions. I was given a plate carrier for a setup I’m putting together. The only issue is that the shoulder straps are fairly thin. I was hoping to find a product that would serve as a viable option to beefing up the shoulder straps. Something along the lines of the DBT Fast Attack Carrier’s straps (http://diamondbacktactical.com/product/Diamondback-Tacticalreg-Fast-Attack-Plate-Carrier-Gen-II,34,6.htm).
There’s a number of armored shoulder strap additions out there, but if you’re not worried about that, HSGI makes a shoulder pad that can be used on a strap for a gab or on PCs.
I use them on my Eagle PC w/cummerbund, and they’re a big help to what little weight actually makes it to my shoulders.
