A regret I definitely have, all that week before I was going to give him a call. Then to find out he was less than a hour away. I wasn’t working that weekend. I had a few conversations with him off and on over the years. Not saying I was anything but an acquaintance in general. Might have been a few spirited conversations back in early 2000’s. A few were on several others that are or were members more than a few wanted me banned. On AR’s accuracy, I pointed out a few things straight from several Army manuals, and some data straight from AMU. It was kinda funny to me as I was running M16a2/ M-4 zero and qualifications ranges at the time. There was a oddity with a low tier AR having exceptional quality of barrels for target shooting. I took part of one of them to his course in Atlanta several years later. The bolt carrier keys was so shot out “hotdogs down a hallway” unicorn BCG an original chrome with FA notches.
His passing hit hard as many buddies passed that year. I dropped off of here also and focused on several other things.
