BCM upper on LMT Sopmod Lower

Yes they do. They are $339 for a standard M4 stock and MOE triggerguard and $439 for the Magpul stock and magpul standard triggerguard.

Just curious sdacbob, any idea where to purchase the D.D.

You can call DD or I think Joe Marler is a DD rep here and on TOS. You can probably PM him.

Thanks…

yes it works.

Very nice LH…thank you.

Is it a cold hammer forged barrel or standard? How does it shoot and function? Any information regarding accuracy off a bench?

+1

Or me if spammy is too busy.

On a serious note, your BCM upper will fit great on that LMT lower. Both are great kit and I would be pretty surprised if they didn’t interface perfectly. I would say if you want the LMT lower and the BCM upper, buy with confidence.

I have done a build with an LMT Lower and BCM upper. With one LMT lower the two were loose in fit. On another LMT lower the two fit very very tight–so tight you had to press hard on the upper to get the two to pin together. However, with the Accuwedge, I got the loose Lower to fit plenty tight. It ended up with a sweet build and anything BCM and LMT is usually top-notch all around; you can’t go wrong with these.

Okay I think that is freaking hillarious my wife is wondering what I am laughing at. I have a BLT too!

I ordered the same setup last week. I bought a complete LMT lower and the BCM 14.5 Middy with the H2 Buffer and PWS556 brake. they all should come in this week. When they do I’m dropping in a Geiselle SSA Trigger and then swapping out the regular collapsable stock with a Magpul UBR stock. Can’t wait to get it in and setup.

Hey do you have any plans for your stock trigger control? I need to replace my disconnect and disconnect spring in the brandy new LMT lower. During a functions check and or dry fire the first trigger pull is good to go. When I cycle the bolt and let the slack out of the trigger so it will re-set for another pull it “fires” so I need to replace a few parts and would like to keep 'em LMT.

It speaks to the two is one and one is none! This is a spare rifle so the pressure is not really on too heavy. The BLT comment still has me grinning.

USMCVET, let me run the middy with both triggers. I’ve read a couple of posts in this thread and the Geiselle may not be the trigger that works best with the middy. If the Geiselle does work fine for my I will let you know and get you the parts you need from the standard LMT trigger.

What does being a middy have to do with the trigger function?

Here is the link to the 14.5 T&E Range report thread. I believe on either page 9 or 10 some of the people were mentioing that the Geiselle may not be the best trigger for this setup. Possibly short triggering. I don’t think I’m fast enough with the trigger to notice a difference yet but I want to run both the standard and my Geiselle to see what I like best. Maybe I’ll be quick enough some day to be able to really tell the difference.

what’s “short triggering?”

You mean this quote?

Which brings up the issue of changing the way I run the trigger just a bit as I’ve found that it’s more likely to shot-stroke the trigger with this gun. I do not think this is a fault of the gun at all, and actually has me interested in trying something like the Wilson TTU because I think that the way this gun is set up has the possibility of taking advantage of a trigger like that. I don’t think this is the place for a two stage, but a light, crisp, short reset single-stage might just do the trick.

Note that he doesn’t blame the gun for his ability to outrun a 2 stage trigger.

That’s the quote. The Geiselle is a 2 Stage trigger. I’m in no way fast enough to make this happen.

Ok LMT Rocks. I had an email response first thing this morning offering to have me ship it back for a look. After a few emails I was told to email my serial number and address for replacement parts. Thanks LMT. I will let you guys know the outcome.
