BCM upper/lower match - is this acceptable?

Picked up a new factory built BCM - noticed the upper and lower are a pretty shitty match where the mag release wells line up - it’s actually the worst match I’ve ever seen. With that said, she is accurate and functions fine. No real slop and dis/assembles fine. See pic below.

Do you guys think this is abnormal and out of acceptable specs for a $1k factory built BCM? Is it something I should consider contacting BCM about? Wouldn’t bother me if it was a lower end AR, but its not…

Or am i just overanalyzing and its normal enough and 100% cosmetic and within spec?

Contact BCM first per the site rules.

Also, use the ORANGE search button and look up “upper and lower” fit.
