BCM or LMT?

I currently have a STAG carbine that I put together and a Bushmaster with a 20" HBAR A2 upper.

I am planning on acquiring another 16" carbine upper, which will be going on the Bushmaster lower for the time being.

I won’t likely be putting a tremendous number of rounds through it, but would like to take a good carbine class next spring. I would just like to have a high quality, essentially mil-spec upper.

Which would be a better choice: LMT or BCM?

Thanks for your help.

either one thats available when you are ready to buy. If both are available BCM… a little cheaper and you can get a middy.

BCM, then get an LMT lower when you get some do’h.

BCMs are likely to get more expensive pretty soon, they’re getting way too popular to stay cheap.

Ford or Chevy ?

Ive got a BCM upper on a LMT lower. I LOVE it. But you cant go wrong with either. Both super high quality and badass.

Agreed… can’t go wrong with either. Honestly I haven’t used a BCM, I’ve been exclusively LMT (just by chance). Never had a problem with them… They make quality BCG’s.

BCM if you want a midlength. LMT if you want a carbine and get a 14.5 in with a pinned flash hider.
IMHO

Thanks for sharing your opinions with me.

A local dealer I know is expecting some LMT uppers and lowers in the next few weeks, so I think I’ll go with that.

It’s nice to know, though, that for once which ever way I go won’t be a mistake. I wish all life’s decisions were like that.

Ron – I just shot my MRP again at the range today – it was flawless and smooth – I am so happy to have it.

Well, I lucked out and was able to get a BCM middy and a BCM bcg, which arrived on Monday.
