BCM bolt carrier group?

Does anyone know if there are any BCM bolt carrier groups available. I am waiting for them to come in stock and I check daily but they seem to have been out of stock for the longest time now. I have found LMT,Daniel Defense and Rainier Arms BCG’s in stock and available and am wondering if any of these would be a good alternative to the BCM one or should I keep waiting. By the way this is going in my 14.5" BCM middy upper build I am doing.

I don’t know about Rainier Arms, but you’ll see DD and LMT BCGs recommended about as often as BCM. You’ll be fine with either of those. You’d also be GTG with Colt, but I believe they’ll be more expensive.

www.coltsmfg.com I ordered a complete bcg about a month ago. Around $190.00

I just ordered a Rainier BCG the other day because Bravo was out and I was curious about them, it should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. It sounds like it should be good to go if the specifications are true.

LMT, DD, and Colt are also top notch.

I have BCM and LMT BCG’s I’m sure you’d be fine with DD too.

Is there a reason where you only feel that the BCM BCG is the only suitable choice? The others you mention are top notch.

The Colt would obviously be a great choice too.

I love my BCM gear but they’ve become so popular it can be tough at times to get their gear.

Noveske BCG’s are also available.

There’s a known reliable vendor who’s selling a certain brand BCG (who’s name I will not mention since I’ll get E-raped) for less than $110 shipped. There are scanned HPT/MPI documents posted online of their testing on the bolts.
I’m with the rest of the guys. While I do love me some BCM, it’s not the end all label on a BCG.

I’ll let you know which one fails first…

Because they won’t say BCM when the ejection port cover is open and they post pics online.

No actually thats why I was asking if the others are on par with BCM. I have read so many positive reviews on BCM uppers,BCGs and all overall components that I figured I would stick with what seems to be top quality.

I guess maybe some people feel that way but I would guess it has to do with people wanting top notch components in their rifle and little to do with pictures. As for me I wish manufactures would stop sticking their logo’s all over there gear, these are not billboards they are weapons but that may be just my opinion.

If I need a BCG for an upper, I usually try to match manufacturers. If unavailable, I’ll go DD, BCM, Noveske or Colt.

There will be no discernable difference between a BCM BCG and a Colt, DD, LMT, etc.

Many go for BCM solely because it says BCM on the side, anyone who doesn’t believe that only needs to spend about 30 seconds on ARFCOM for proof

Well I ended up ordering a Rainier Arms Thunderbolt after talking to the extremely nice and helpful people there. I know its not a BCM,LMT,or D.D. but from what I gathered from the people at Rainier this BCG is top quality like the others. If anyone is on the fence about ordering from these guys just give them a call they are a treat to deal with and a thanks to all who posted there opinions here.

Day late and a dollar short… The BCM BCG is in stock at Bravo as of this posting. Get them while they’re hot!

Just got mine.

I bought the BCM BCG only because it was in stock at the time I bought it. The LMT was out of stock as well as the DD from Midway.
I remember them all being within $10 or so of each other so it’s negligible. I would buy any of the 3 with no reservations.

Thanks for the heads up just got mine ordered!
