BCM Bayonet Lug

I just got a Lan-Cay M9 bayonet for my BCM M4 (14.5" w/A2X suppressor). The bayonet will not lock-up fully on the lug. It stops about 1/32" short when locking onto the lug. Lan-Cay isn’t the best manufacturer of bayonets, but I’m not sure if it’s the Lan-Cay bayonet or the BCM FSB bayonet lug that is out of spec.

Has anyone mounted a bayonet on their BCM?

I have mounted a bayonet on my middy and it works fine.
Does the bayonet work on other rifles? Does the welding job stop the bayonet from sliding all the way on??

DOH! Good catch…yeah, the spot weld is catching. I’ll have to smooth it some. Thanks for the help, bro.
