Parts add up to about $937, with $13 for assembly I’d say it’s a reasonably priced upper. factor in that it’s available at all…
This local ass-clown Rini’s Surplus in Beaver Falls PA has a colt lower for $799, a colt upper for $1199 and a Bushmaster lower for $599.
He also is a Gun store/Surplus/ATV store, he open carries a loaded weapon with the thumb break unsnapped and hanging from the holster… and he has a sign on the door saying no weapond or concealed carry allowed on property.
I asked him he believed the 2A rights and he says he does for himself but does not want others carrying loaded weapons around him because he does not know what is in thier heads. I just left.
I thought that at first, til I read it again and saw that there was a BCM BCG and charging handle with it. And here I was, tired after work and I was just gonna go straight to bed. But I think “I’ll just get on the comp for a minute.” So I log on here, and the first banner I see is Grant’s, so I think “Oh, I’ll just see what he has in stock, I doubt he’ll have any uppers.” Then I click on BCM, and I notice down in the right corner there’s no “OUT OF STOCK” next to the BCM/DD upper. And now I have one on the way.
Damn you, Grant.
That’s a great package deal. If I hadn’t picked something else up a couple of weeks ago, I’d have been all over it.

I’m not saying that the value isn’t there… I just don’t usually run all that luxury rail stuff on my guns.
I should buy it for the BCG and throw the rest away!
I’m going to have to hold out for an 11.5" barrel. It could happen some day.

Seriously though, I paid $850 for my BCM upper from Bravo Company with the low profile block and the 12" DD Lite rail installed, and I didn’t get a BCG or CH, so I think this is a great deal.
But really, I’m just trying to justify to myself why I spent 950 bucks first thing in the damn morning. :eek:
