Anyone got any advice on which route to go?
I’m liking the bcm offering because of the known quality of the company and the weight. Liking the other offerings judging on reviews that I’ve read.
I’ll be using the rifle for range trips with buddies, home defense, and the very occasional extermination of outside pests lol. So any guidance would be very much appreciated!

I went BCM ELW. I don’t think you can do bad with either. FWIW.
What’s your accuracy with it? Not looking for a tack driver necessarily, just something that is less than 2 moa

I just got a BCM upper with KMR and ELW-F. It’s a great barrel and I’ve heard nothing but good about it. Here’s a thread that’ll give you some good info-

I think it was markm that took his ELW out to 1000. I haven’t fired mine yet, it just came in the other day so I can’t report on the accuracy but I’m sure it’s nothing less that outstanding.
About 2 MOA with m855. I was surprised it was a so good. I haven’t tried anything fancy in it yet, but would like to find a precision round it likes.
Very intriguing. I about have my mind made up on it, but if some has some input on the sionics or arp offering I would appreciate it.

Trident did a write up on a Sionics barrel. If I remember correctly it shot consistent with other good chrome lined barrels.
Since BCM ELW KMR uppers are like $750 with BCG and comp now, I see no reason to get anything else.
You can’t really even build it for that cheap.
Our barrels shoot very well. Whether it be the shorter 11.5" or the the 16". We doing several runs of Melonite in both the medium contour and the LW offering. We should also have some LW uppers on the website as well.
Not planning on buying a whole upper, don’t have the funds for that, just replacing the barrel. Kinda screwed the pooch because I’m an idiot with my current one so just a barrel for now.

You basically can’t go wrong with either one. I considered both but decided to go with the ELW-F because of BCM’s sale.
Pretty much made my mind up. Planning on going with the elw for this rifle and later on down the road using the sionics.
