BCM 14.5" BFH mid-length upper

I have a an AR with 18" barrel that I use for long range varminting and plinking. I’m wanting to add an upper, maybe a 14.5" length for just range use as the 18" configuration is a little heavy at times for off-hand shooting. I found a almost new in box BCM 14.5" BFH Lightweight Mid-length upper with the Magpul Handguards, less than 500 rounds through it. Seller also has a gently used DD Omega Rail if I wanted it. $450 for the upper, $175 for the rail. If I wanted both he would give me a better price for the two.

any feed back on the upper? Pull the trigger on this or is there a better options out there?

Just buy a brand new stripped upper from BCM with the bonus CH/BCG package and slap on the rail of your choosing for nearly the same price.

You may want to look here before buying used. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/AR-15-14-5-Mid-Length-Group-s/135.htm If what he has is legit and includes a BCM BCG It’s just an alright deal if you must have the BFH barrel. Most of us don’t. Look at the regular lightweight upper with the 9" KMR.
