I’m new to this forum but have been on California gun forums for many years. I’ve tried to use my google-fu but have come up with limited results. My question is about Battle Rifle Company. Has anyone had any firsthand experience with them? I’m not looking for any “my buddies friends cousins sister knows someone who heard from his brother blahh blahh blahhh…” type answers.
My reason is I jumped in and bought one sight unseen based on recommendations from my importer/exporter contact. I decided on the BR15 LIT-R in 20". I’m not going to drop names since I don’t want to come off as a first poster name dropper.
I expect my rifle to get to me in approx. 2 weeks or so. I will post up pics with a range report as soon as I can. Thanks again for having me on this website and I look forward to many more posts to come.
Is this a smear campaign against “Battle Rifle Company”? Because it may be a nice rifle, but after watching those tards try and monkey fuck that M4 I don’t want to be associated with Battle Rifle company at all!
On a serious note, 1,000 rounds on semi auto is literally below bare minimum. That’s breaking in a rifle. Yeah they shot it super fast and are probably well on their way to a burnt out barrel, but it proves nothing.
That said, I can’t really contribute. Not saying yea, leaning towards nay.
Hey Battle rifle guy…you should have posted that video at the NRA trade show…the one where you were fingering the trigger of your .308 CQB weapon like it was cool. It was much more informative…and entertaining!
oh wait it was removed from YT…just…like…it never happened
or did it?
“In closing, watch this video that some guy shot at the NRA show while at the Battle Rifle Company booth. In the video, the owner of the company displays poor/unsafe firearm handling skills (finger on trigger at unnecessary times) and tries to sell unsuspecting viewers a low-quality 308 AR – the one with the incorrect length handguard – for $2795. He also talks about the “synergy” of matched uppers and lowers. He throws a rifle down on the ground, then picks it up as if nothing is wrong with it – this is why their rifles had misaligned rails at the show, due to improper installation followed by dropping them on the floor.”
Rick Taylor is watching you and your company BRG. Better check your six
Good Evening-
I wanted to let you all know that we have addressed issues that have been brought up. We have made changes to both personnel and procedures. We have added additional QC measures. We have made corrections to what were mock-ups and experiments and have corrected those mistakes. We have acted responsibly to answer any of our customers concerns quickly and efficiently and stand behind our product. In every case we have made an exhaustive effort to make things right.
We do not deserve the moniker that has been placed on our company.
We are doing all we can to have our potential customers feel comfortable with our rifles.
We will continue to provide video proof. We have made our rifles available to shoot by consumers like you in our local area so that you can “Try Before You Buy”
We offer you to visit our facility in the Clear Lake Area of Houston and see how we build our rifles, test fire one and be able to see for yourself.
Should you wish to discuss anything, would like information or to wish to take us up on our offer, please feel free to contact me directly at chris@battleriflecompany.com
We are committed to building a great rifle- and will do all we need to do to prove that. We understand that this business is not to be treated lightly- and there is a serious commitment to making things right.
Thank you
Really BRC guy. That video with the pseudo Mission Impossible theme is an absolute goat fuck. How about instead of gimmicks and bullshit you actually keep your piehole shut and work at producing something of quality. You have been knocked down, figure out the next step without the feeble attempts to win over the discerning crowd here on M4C.
Seriously man, this is not the forum for you.
I think you guys would even be laughed off of Arfcom.
You paraded a bunch of garbage builds at the NRA show.
Companies show off their best there.
And obviously the builds you brought you felt were your best.
This shows your ignorance and lack of experience with the AR15.
I don’t care what title you hold or claim to hold, or how long you have been throwing together parts and calling them high quality builds.
As I said, this is not the forum for you.
Spare yourself the humiliation and bow out.
Chris well done for stepping up. Its good to see companies come forward who are willing to answer questions.
Please do not take offense at this, but please remove your video. It does not help your company. It is poorly put together and has a really bad sound track.
Your video implies you are making a good product. A 1000 round test means nothing to most of the guys on this broad.
You need to do a little more testing before posting videos here. Its a free country and you can do whatever you wish but you really need to build up a good solid foundation of a proven track record before you will make headway on this board.
These guys are solid shooters. They will beat you down very fast here unless you can prove you have a good product.
*Riffle. Built: *from unknown components. Specs: *plagiarized from the M16 FOW field manual. Receivers: *Syngerized *Capabilities: *" Wont just knock down the door but three walls after that" Price $2795
This thread has run it’s course. The company Rep came on here and apologized and said that the company has tightened up and made changes for the better. I for one think the fact that he stepped up is a sign of maturity and respect for constructive criticism.
