Battle Proven Rail System - Vltor CASV Handguard (Free Float)

Battle Proven Rail System

Vltor CASV Handguard Rail System (Free Float)

Specifically developed for the US Navy E.O.D. Groups (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), the CASV-EL has become a Battle Proven rigid mounting platform, respected by all end users. The Model that the Navy Bomb Squad uses is the CASV-EL (“EL” meaning Extended Length), in the Color “Flat Dark Earth” (Vltor Tan)

The CASV-EL is one of the simplest rail systems to install, requiring no special installations tools. All that is needed is to remove the pinned in sling swivel located on the front sight tower assembly. Each handguard assembly has a rigid continuous rail section along the top, and comes with removable rail sections that allow the user to install rail sections where needed.

Fits all flat top receivers, carbine length gas systems M4 AR15 carbine series system. This system will not work with Mid-Length or Rifle Length gas systems.

This CASV chassis is made entirely of aluminum with exception to the stainless steel mounting hardware. After mounted, the CASV adds less than 1lb to the firearm’s overall weight.

Installation note: The installation of this handguard does not require any modifications to the firearm except for the removal of the sight tower sling swivel (if your carbine is equipped with one).

All CASV-EL Kits contain the following Items:
Qty.1 6-inch Accessory Rail
Qty.2 4-inch Accessory Rail
Qty.2 2-inch Accessory Rail
Qty.11 10-32 x ½ Flathead Hex Drive Screw
Qty.2 Hex Wrenches for Mounting Clamp and Accessory Rail Installation.

Colors: Black, Tan (FDE), Green

are we going to see these in other lengths, or are they deferring to their new one piece upper?

Yes, there will be some different lengths/versions later this year.
Thanks!

Does the Vltor CASV top rail cowitness an EoTech 552? I can’t tell if it is too high or not from the pics. Thanks.

It will not co-wit with an EOtech.

thanks.

Is it too high or too low?

It is high, I think it adds about 1/2" to the rail height.

Thanks.
