Can someone give me the difference in weight between a DD 14.5 Carbine barrel with a 12" Omega rail and a Lightweight barrel with a 12" light rail?
Cannot access the search feature. Keeps kickin me to some error message. I sent an e-mail to DD and have not gotten a response yet. Itchy “Buy Now” finger.
The standard barrel will be about 3 pounds and 6 ounces. The light weight barrel will probably be about 3 pounds even.

I believe in when comparing 16" govt to 16" lightweight in middy, the weight was about 4-6oz less. The weight loss on a middy could actually slightly greater than a carbine. The profile on a LW carby under the handguards is thicker than the LW middy.
