barrel question

i currently own a RRA 16" tactical carbine that ive had about 3 years. as most of you know the barrel is pretty heavy and it does not have the m4/203 cut.
i was wondering where i could have the barrel contoured, also cut down to a 14.5in, perm attach a FH and have the m203 groove cut into it.

i just came across ADCO, i know they contour barrels, …but could they have it cut down to a 14.5,perm attach FH and put the m203 cut on the barrel? couldnt find any info on their site about it.

also, is a pinned GI flash hider on a 14.5in barrel long enough the meet 16" without having to register it as a class 3.

you can do all that, and ADCO can do all that.

if you like the A2 birdcadge muzzle device, just have them cut the barrel to 14.75 or 14.8 instead.

You may be better off just getting another barrel put on. Is there any reason for the M203 notch or is a CDI thing?

i thought about getting a new barrel, upper, hell or just a whole new gun. but i was curious if this task was possible without damaging my barrel. m203 notch is just a personal ‘looks’ thing, ide love to have a 203, but its not really ideal where i live, i wouldnt be able to shoot it…

i dont want to damage my barrel, but if this is something that people have done before without any problems, i wouldn’t mind it. it would save a few $$. i was just really curious.
