Any word on barrel availability from LMT? It seems like after Dec. 18th things disappered.
Good question. I am looking for an 18" SS 308 barrel.
I understand all manufacturers (especially those with gov. contracts)are running at full capacity to meet orders, so we can only hope things cool off sooner rather than later.

This panic has sucked up 18 months of supply and every manufacturer I have spoke with in the past 3 weeks are a minimum of 2 years behind in current orders.
Some of them will not even concider adding to their maufacturing capabilities due to the politcal environment.The fear of spending millions to increase the capacity just to see the product banned by law has them aprehensive.
I just wish the panic would subside. I want to build a 6.8spc AR.
Lmt was running close to 24 weeks out on most everything even before the stupidity.
You might want to contact Marvin pitts to see if he can do mws conversions. Last i heard he started to do mrp conversions. Then you can pick a barrel and have it converted.
You could also see if dbmg s can do it.
If you’re looking for a high quality barrel, you could have GA Precision make you one.
GAP does not make their own barrels.
They buy the blanks and do the rest themselves.
