I suppose the real issue is whether it is short enough for magazine use, or is it meant to be single-loaded like the typical 80gr and 90gr OTM loads.

Not sure it would be possible for this to be loaded to mag length without eating up excessive case volume.

If it is constructed like the huge majority of Barnes bullets an 85 grain bullet is going to be very long. Not seeing how it can be magazine length and not hurt case capacity.
