Made exclusively for me, in the USA, by, you know, that one outfit that claims to be making the “Best Grips On the Planet”. I really believe that… talking here, of course, about VZ grips. The really, truly, “Made in USA” place-- original ideas and designs by Americans, made from US-made materials in the USA, AND on by-God US-made CNC machinery. No copies, no shameless offshore knockoffs. No melted-down milk jugs poured into molds made from castings of actual VZ grips.
I’m very proud to be associated with John and his company, and how he forges ever ahead with new ideas and processes to bring us more and better products. VZ has a level of class and a cool factor that I think rivals any in the gun industry!

A small batch only at this time, more coming; available in, as Henry Ford said, “Any color you want as long as it’s black”. These are not thin grips so standard bushings and screws will work. They are cut at the heel for access to the mainspring housing pin, reflecting my personal preference to be able to take my 1911 apart without having to find a screwdriver to remove the grips. They are lightly chamfered at the bottom but not fully beveled; and they are not cut for an ambi safety. Either of these mods I will be happy to do for an additional $5. The grips as-is are $65. I would prefer to always send them Priority Mail since it now comes with tracking, add $7.
