I was at my local Base Exchange on Saturday and notices a new gun magazine on the rack. Format, size, paper quality similar to Recoil magazine, so I picked up a copy. http://www.tactical-life.com/publications/ballistic/ballistic-summer-2015/

Anyway, it’s pricy, but it’s a got some quality articles on both guns and basic preparedness. In my opinion, it’s a bit less hardcore than Recoil magazine but still full of quality gear articles and reviews.

They had an interesting article on the old 9MM vrs ,45 ACP debate with some solid input from Paul Buffoni, Ken Hackathorn, Bill Wilson, Larry Vickers, and some others. It’s also available on line…http://www.tactical-life.com/gear/45-acp-vs-9mm-ammo/#bsum-buffoni

Anyway, not looking for a caliber debate, just trying to show the quality of the contributors. YMMV

Ever since RECOIL came on the market gun rag publishers had to change their traditional business model. Now they all offer a RECOIL style magazine with glossy gun porn, even the paper stock are the same abnormal dimensions. IIRC this is at least the fourth magazine to come out since RECOIL.

The more the merrier. Cool BCM stickers inside this premier issue!

Is it bad to admit that the stickers were the deciding factor for my purchase? I thought they would look good on my safe LOL

Id buy it just for the BCM stickers. Then toss it :slight_smile:

LOL! I tossed the stickers! But the mag is pretty good, albeit spendy
