I have a Rem 700 5R .223 that shoots lights out. My only gripe was sometimes it wouldn’t feed perfectly. It did OK, but at times it was irritating. So I decided to bite the bullet and get a Badger, had it installed and was feeding like a dream. Then started to go south late in the hot AZ morning.
So I pulled it back out tonight to give it a once over. The feed lips opened up enough that I could load it to ten, and they could all auto eject out of the mag? I tried a back up mag I bought, 'perfect".
I wonder if the AZ heat opened up the lips?
Did running it hot and suppressed cause it to take a shit?
Anybody seen this happen? Or heard of this happening?
Any feedback appreciated?
