ATF bans import of Beretta 1301 shotgun (in 7+1 configuration)

Apparently Beretta is developing a 5+1 version to comply.

Expect much more of this while they still can, right up to the moment we boot their asses out the door in January… remember, these freaks tried to reclass the 1911 as a machinegun when they took a run at Rich Celate for his 80%s back in the Odickcheese regime.

I remember being annoyed that Trump didn’t clip the nuts off of this corrupt agency last term.

I think thing will be much different this time.

Can someone explain to me why 7+1 is an issue? The people that are buying these with that kind of money aren’t trying to to do bad things, so what’s the paranoia with 7+1?

Depends on if he keeps Red Flag Pam as his AG nominee or dumps her for someone NOT an Enemy of the 2A.

Cause elites are anti all rights.

Thanks, but I wasn’t asking for an emotional response that doesn’t answer anything.

You didn’t get an emotional response.

Bondi is now an ‘enemy of the 2A’?

Ya know… Governor Rick Scott signed Florida’s Red Flag legislation and increasing the age to buy long guns. However, GOA gives Rick Scott an A- rating in their 2024 voter guide. Time to burn GOA membership cards as supporters of enemies of the 2A?

At the risk of repeating myself… Matt Gaetz had an outstanding voting record on 2A issues.

Something something… allowing the perfect to be the enemy of the good.

Clear and concise explanation.

No? Then why was I given a straw man? You clearly didn’t give a rational but technical response. Is it an NFA violation? Is it an export violation?

I am only interested in listening to understand but not from someone listening to respond.

Huh? That’s not it either. Sorry I asked a technical question. This is what stifles discussion.

Sorry. In a nutshell, anything over 1/2" bore is subject to ban if ATF “deems it to not have ‘legitimate sporting purpose.’” This is one of those things that is still fallout to come from the death of Chevron–until we get it applied to ATF they have the discretion to say “blued and walnut is OK but the same gun parkerized and M-LOK is ‘tactical’ and thus Not Sporting.”

The way the Large Bore Destructive Device clauses in NFA and GCA are worded is what gives them this opening they can drive a Cape Canaveral crawler through.

Thanks. It’s a BS rule of theirs. The 2A ain’t for sporting, anyone saying otherwise is having a cognitive dissonance.

They really need to be purged right along with the FBI and IRS.

Which is covered by “Cause elites are anti all rights.”

Which covers GCA 68, all other anti 2A laws, and all anti rights initiatives.

Were you not around for the Street Sweeper(and some other shotguns) suddenly becoming evil items much like pistol braces?

You are still listening to respond and using more fallacies.

The other person gave me the answer I was looking for, a technical one. Were you not listening to understand what I was asking at all??

Anyway, I am done with this thread since the other person helped me. It really was a simple thing to answer, friend.

The more detailed explanation Diamondback gave you is per GCA 68, so(per your standard) that explanation is a fallacy also.

So you countered your own straw man with another? Well done! Keep it up! Stellar.

I am willing to learn.

Tell us what theoretical explanation for the act would make you say it wasn’t BS and was in fact a good idea.
