ATF and DEA agents team up to "capture Israeli terrorist"

Popped him at a bar in Ohio, while they were extremely drunk.

The duo are also local police(typically claiming to not enforce federal laws) tied to ATF and DEA who got shitfaced and decided to attack a US citizen of Eritrean descent and “Israel” was as close as they could manage.

First cops(from another jurisdiction) that show up hassle and belittle the victim while playing along with their drunken colleagues.

Fortunately other le showed up and were not as accommodating with professional courtesy and other special priveleges.

Turns out that neither were actually Feds (I don’t know if that makes it worse or better)

Kopchak is Cleveland PD attached to some task force
Lajak is Lake County Sheriff Dept.

Your basic drunk self important racists.

The attached to thing is coming up more and more such as these guys:

Perhaps more importantly, state/local cops on firearms boards often claim(and this was frequent with Clinton’s semi auto ban) no state/local cops were out enforcing federal gun control laws. While it may have been true for their particular agency, the interactions were already going on.

A frequent claim now is any criminal/civil consequences for state/local le committing crimes means no one will want to work as state/local le and that is part of a huge anti 2A plan to just have federal le to go after gun owners, but many state/local le are, and have been, doing that with complaints against states allegedly trying to stop it:

What morons. Hit 'em with every charge you can think of, lock 'em up, and throw away the key. Maybe we’ll get lucky and general population will sort 'em out. Typical macho LEO “I’m better than you” behavior, and the fact that they wanted to claim Federal affiliation and identified a bystander as a “civilian” shows just how far the brain rot is with them.

This kind of thing has worked for them before.

I’m thankful for this law where I live. It’s not a huge protection, but it prevents local cops from helping out working with feds.

Those two “feds” should have been stripped of any job they held and thrown in jail for that bs.

Kopchak is a frequent flyer.

"On August 1, 2010, Kopchak and Officer Raoul Antanacio stopped next to a parked vehicle. As they did so, Wilson fled on foot. Kopchak pursued, and claimed that Wilson fired at him at point blank range. Wilson was arrested a short time later by other officers, and did not have a weapon at that time. Both of Wilson’s hands were tested for gun shot residue, and showed that Wilson had not recently fired a weapon. A search failed to reveal the weapon, nor any shells, bullets, or bullet holes.[5]

Wilson was charged with first degree felony attempted murder, two counts of felony assault, and other charges.[5]

On October 28, 2010, a jury convicted Wilson on attempted murder and one count of felony assault and he was sentenced to 10 years in jail.[5]

On December 1, 2010, Wilson appealed, claiming that there was insufficient evidence, that the convictions were against the weight of the evidence, and that he did not receive a fair trial.[6]

On November 3, 2011, the Appeals Court upheld the conviction on the basis of Kopchack’s testimony that a shooting occurred, that Wilson is seen on dash-cam video holding his waistband as if he was carrying a weapon, and the video contained the sound of gunshots.[7][8][6][9]

On December 15, 2011, Wilson appealed to the state Supreme Court on the same grounds as his earlier appeal.[5]

On February 22, 2012, the appeal was dismissed as not involving any substantial constitutional questions.[6]"

So who was armed, didn’t get swabbed for gunshot residue, and is on video telling tall tales to harm others?

Update, one of the duo has resigned. No mention of where he was immediately hired at.

Resigns and quickly hired by a sheriff who supports violent drunks.

But remember folks, there are very few bad cops. Most are fine, upstanding folks who just happen to cover for, support, hire, work for, or at the least, fail to report, the bad cops.
