Secret meetings to invoke the 25th Amendment? No, that’s called a conspiracy to usurp the Constitutionally elected President of the United States. You think liberals are going to object?

Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI, has reportedly claimed that there were meetings in the Justice Department following James Comey’s firing where officials discussed whether it was possible to remove Donald Trump from the presidency using the 25th Amendment.
Correspondent Scott Pelley told CBS This Morning that McCabe made the admission during an interview with 60 Minutes. McCabe, who was named acting director of the bureau after Trump fired James Comey in May 2017, makes a string of revelations in his new book The Threat.
McCabe is the first person who was involved in the meeting to admit that it happened on the record—Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, previously denied a report from the New York Times that he discussed recruiting cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump.
Speaking Thursday morning, Pelley said: “There were meetings at the Justice Department at which it was discussed whether the vice president and a majority of the cabinet could be brought together to remove the president of the United States under the 25th Amendment.
“These were the eight days from Comey’s firing to the point that Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel. The highest levels of American law enforcement were trying to figure out what to do with the president.”
Pelley went on to say: “McCabe is the very first person involved in these meetings who has come out and spoken publicly … They were counting noses, not asking cabinet members whether they would vote for or against removing the president. But they were speculating ‘this person would be with us, that person would not be.’”
He added: “This was not perceived to be a joke.”
If this is in fact the truth, the FBI and DOJ should be burned to the ground and started over from the bottom up.
In case anyone had any doubt, we’re literally living in a post-apocalyptic dystopia; it’s just that we haven’t had any Science Fiction that accurately predicted how it would be for a mass-audience-friendly frame of reference.

Its been called treason for a while in the right circles. For people who follow Q anon its been pushed as treason by that psyc-op. It is treason.
Problem we have is the lack of people who just don’t care, and then we have a larger segment that don’t care because its Trump. Had it been Obama there would have been all holy hell heard from the left about it and the through the deep state owned media outlets.

This morning I was stumbling around the house while listening to the MSM spew some more Trump hate and I wondered, “What’s the worst thing this guy has done to make so many people hate him so much?”
My conclusion, he’s reversed the course of a lot of the Obama agenda and he beat Hillary in an election.
I mean, that’s it, that’s all he has done to upset the Socialist Progressive’s, he’s reversed or at least slowed the turning tide in the United States.
Now they seem willing to do anything to include sink the economy and invite foreign invaders in to our country just to spite him.

What to do with the President? Beyond serving him? As others have pointed out, where is the actual harm he has caused- different than any other president?
The left hates and can’t stand the Truth, no matter who speaks it. I predict, Trump will get the full length barrier/wall, Trump will get another Supreme Court pick, and he WILL BE re-elected in 2020.
Considering in two years he’s done more for improving Blacks employment rate than the Congressional Black Caucus has done in their entire history, well, I don’t get it either.
We can only hope they do kick the 25th amendment in and get rid of this farce of a president.
We need an adult in office instead of this manchild with no idea what he is doing.
And to the people calling it Treason. The constitution lays out the process for this in situations just like this. It is more constitutional that most of the things that Trump proposes.
Trump is the greatest president since Reagan. He is a maverick and an outsider with real ideas and the guts to try to implement them. Compared to him Obama was merely a caretaker of the oval office, George W. Bush was a dry drunk whose only ambition was to go get Saddam Hussein for his daddy, Clinton was nothing but a philanderer using the oval office for his private sexual encounters, and George H.W. Bush was nothing but a mouthpiece for the globalists.
Love or hate him, it does not matter. Like all POTUS before, his time in office is temporary and fixed in duration.
At best all he can do is delay the lefts timeline and agenda, which is becoming clearer and more belligerent everyday. They are after A LOT more than Trump.
The point isn’t that the 25th Amendment exists. The point is that the “preeminent” law enforcement agency in the United States is holding secret meetings to push for it’s use. Because let’s face it, J.E.H. still walks those halls and his under the table machinations still exist within the FBI. Besides murdering U.S. citizens, their biggest claim to fame is incarcerating people for lying to them. We forget that at our own peril.
Between Hillary, Clapper, Brennan, Holder/Lynch, Comey, McCabe, Rice, Jarrett, etc., etc. ad nauseum, I can’t think of a more unholy cabal pulling strings behind the scenes. They make Cheney & Rumsfeld look like pikers in comparison.
The truth is often tragically funny. If they " get rid of this farce of a president", then it will be the last time we ever get a peaceful opportunity to regain control of our runaway government. It may be even if they do depose him.
Look if they won’t seriously look at replacing Ruth B Ginsberg, who might well be dead for all we know, I seriously doubt they’re going after POTUS Trump.
Once you start courting the idea of going after him, you might want to consider the repercussions because there would be some and Nancy Pelosi sitting at the desk in the oval office might be one of them.
As a practical matter if the 25th Amendment is ever enforced then the presidency as we know it is over with. That will be used as a hammer on any subsequent administration (like impeachment threat is now), and no president will ever again finish a term unless he’s a Deep State puppet hand-picked by those already in power.

Far more than Obama was- far more than 99% of the dems currently lining up for their 30 seconds of fame before TRrump dispatches them.
I don’t think you understand what is/was going on here. The DOJ- the people that have charged everyone that stood up against them and supported Trump with process crimes or old charges- come to you and ask if you’ll support them in their attempt to get rid of Trump. Are you going to say ‘No’- and find out they have opened up an investigation into your last job? Or your wife and kids? Hell, just go through the answers to your security clearance paperwork for the cabinet job.
