Thanks Wes. I’d like to try one of them. I’ve been told it works well for guys with astigmatisms. I vote for an X300 at 12 O’Clock. 
They sure do! I have an astigmatism, right in the vertical plane, and find Aimpoints very hard to use. And the X300 will go @12, just as you say, when funds allow.

The Centurion build weighed 5 oz. more., even though it used a shorter handguard. I attribute this to the heavier barrel profile and the PRI gas block/folding front sight, which is a big block of steel.
I was thinking about doing a build similar to the OP’s. Nice to see how it looks beforehand.
