Arsenal double barrel 1911

Has anyone else seen this fuckery? Who in their right mind is even going to buy this besides the mall ninjas? I’m not even a 1911 fan to be honest (I appreciate them but they aren’t my choice pistol) and yet it still infuriates me. :shout:
ETA: Video

I really expected something of this caliber to come out of sons of guns…

I’m truly embarrassed for them. :frowning:

Wow, that has to be one of the dumbest ideas yet. However I figured that it was only a matter of time until someone came up with the idea.

I wonder what’s next.

If they make it in .38 Super, with a nickel finish, maybe with ivory grip panels with scorpions carved into them, then I know where they’ll sell a butt-load of them.

Ridiculous. I’m sure Hollywood will love them though.

now I’ve seen everything

That’s double retarded. Isn’t there some kind of reg against more than one bullet coming out of the gun per trigger pull?

Is that even real? How do they regulate the barrels to same POI? It is hard enough making a traditional double rifle work well, attempting it in a semi automatic pistol form is rediculous. And to top it off they’re using a 1911 and it is hard enough to get one to run reliably I can only imagine the problems from two welded together.

Call me a mall ninja if you want but I think its kind of a cool idea. Not practical at all, but the cool factor is high. The narrator in the video was full of crap on how long it takes to dump 30 rounds from a 9mm pistol into a target. Even with a magazine change I would be done well before the 30 seconds he said it would take. It would take about 9 seconds counting for the draw and reload with .20 splits.

Pat

Their website doesn’t even work/display correctly. Can’t wait to see how few rounds it takes, for that hunka crap to detonate! :help:

Have you seen a man eat his own head?

I would love to see someone show up with that monstrosity to LAV’s 1911 Operators Course. I’ll bet the comments will be priceless.

I think that was the most awful thing I have seen come from a manufacturer.

Any weapon which shoots automatically, more than 1 shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger, is a machine gun as defined in 26 U.S.C. 5845(b), the National Firearms Act (NFA).

touche, but maybe in a zombie movie.

I’m going to wait for the great genius Will Hayden to make a triple 1911:lol:

Somebody in Hollwood will defiantly use that in a a movie. There is so much wrong there, I don’t know where to begin!

This thing has two triggers from the looks of the pictures.
