Picked one of these up and finally got the chance to shoot it today. It looks to me like both the FSB and the rear sight base are off. I fired ~100 rounds of wolf classic through it and she runs fine. One time I had to push the trigger forward in order to get it to reset.
I owned a romak that was similar in almost all regards.
Here is my question: can/will arsenal get me a new rifle, or should I pony up to get it fixed by a competent AK smith?
Not in love with the trigger at all and will most likely put in a G2 anyway.
I have a long thread in this same forum you should take a look and see if you want them to fix it. I had the worst exp. Took 6 months to get my money back.

I did read about your whole debacle with Arsenal; right before I fired it for the first time actually.
It looked pretty straight to me, and it shoots poa/poi for the most part. (Flyers, crappy ammo, offhand) the issues I have are more cosmetic then anything else. I paid a premium for this rifle and I want to be in love with it and for the most part I am.
I’m thinking I should just send it to a reputable smith and have them give it the once over.
I really wouldn’t care that much if I wasn’t planning on SBR’ing it.
I love the look of the AK-100 series, and I plan on beating the pants off this rifle.
Guess I will just put it through its paces.

I bought an SGL 31-84 from them and found the front sight canted. I called and they said to send it back. 3 weeks later, I got it back with a note confirming that the FSB was indeed crooked and to call Arsenal. Arsenal said to call KVAR. KVAR said that they checked it and I was correct: it was canted. When I said that the canted FSB is the reason that I sent it back for them to straighten, they said that they looked at it and found it within spec. I finally gave up. It shoots fine, but does make me wonder…
