I gotta say I found his post disrespectful as well. There’s absolutely no need to total Sgt. Weichel’s heroism and sacrifice on a ledger sheet and point out that it doesn’t make up for the wrongs committed in theatre. That kind of comparison has no place whatsoever in a thread meant to honor his sacrifice.
I for one would like to see his post deleted. It’s crass and uncalled for. 
Prayers for Sgt. Weichel’s family and friends. They can be very proud of him, period!
This thread will remain ON TOPIC in regards to the Sgt. and his story or it will get locked and members will get infractions.
Keep your politics and .mil feelings out of this thread. If you HAVE to throw in your $0.02 then feel free to start a new thread though given the original post that started the cleanup I don’t see it lasting long either.
Also STOP quoting the bickering/baiting/instigating posts guys. It makes cleanup much more difficult. This is a good story so I didn’t want to just dump it in the trash but next time the baby goes out with the bath water.
