Right after the '94 AWB, I picked up an AR-10T that uses modified M-14/M-1A mags (I believe it is referred to as AR-10B model). While accurate and has never given me an issue otherwise, I’d like to either assemble a carbine length upper or purchase an already built upper. Am I limited to only what Armalite offers for the AR-10B due to the somewhat proprietary magazine or can I use other manufactures products that utilize the SR-25 type magazine? Thanks for any info on this!
Unfortunately you’re limited to only AR-10B pattern lowers. An AR-10A upper won’t feed correctly on your lower.
