Are the legacy 5.56mm, and 7.62mm suppressor/mount systems going to be phased out?

After the release of the MAMS?

Also, because I wanted an answer from the people at KAC:

What are the real world benifits of the new 5.56mm QDC suppressors over the standard NT4 system?

I’m talking about noise suppression, POI shift, velocity boost, mounting rigidity, price, cost of manufacter, etc.

I also wanted to ask what the baffle stack was made out of on this one.

(Particularly the long 5.56mm suppressor, not the CQB model. And i didn’t ask about the 7.62 system because it’s benefits over the legacy KAC M110 suppressor is obvious, but comments on that would be appreciated too.)

Thanks for your time, guys.

Bump.

Here are a few answers:

We are still working on the new 5.56mm suppressor at this time to make them a better suppressor in performance as well as weight than the previous NT-4, which is proving to be surprisingly difficult considering the NT-4 performs so well.

Unfortunately we can not release what materials will be used at this time as it is still being tested.

I can attest to how well the NT4 performs.

Thanks for the information.

Is the MAMS system being bred to compliment the NT4 or to replace it?

Any word on suppressor availability? I see them on the new website but there is currently no listed MSRP for the suppressors or flash hiders. Will we see a 7.62 flash hider in 5/8x24 as well? Itching to put one on my SCAR 17.
